In a statement issued on Tuesday 31st March Cooksongold issued the following statement regardign trading:

"Over the last few weeks, we have announced a number of changes to our business operation, working hard to balance what is right for our staff, our customers and the wider jewellery trade.

We are constantly reviewing the situation with the latest government information, the feedback from our teams and customers, assessing if we can continue to take and despatch orders in a safe way.

Whilst the UK Government has said online retailers can and should operate as normal, we no longer feel this is the right thing to do for our team members and colleagues who are working in our order fulfilling and despatch teams, and we need to do this in order to keep them and their families safe.

Therefore we now feel it’s time to take an additional step, and we have made the difficult decision to close our logistics operations from the close of business Wednesday 1st April until at least the 27th April.

We will be working hard to fulfil any existing orders by Wednesday 1st April, and we are now unable to accept any new orders or returns until at least the 27th April. We will keep reviewing the situation and will advise of any changes and updates as soon as we can.

During these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever to take care of one another.

Please keep checking our website, blog and social channels in the coming weeks, as we want to stay in touch and bring you some positivity, whilst also getting those creative ideas flowing with numerous projects and tutorials.

We look forward to a time when we are fully back up and can welcome you all back."
