A decade of adventures by the free-spirited founder, Charlotte Howarth, spanning continents and embracing different cultures, has resulted in the enchanting world of Charlotte’s Web.

This summer, Charlotte's Web is celebrating 10 years of being online as a sophisticated, eclectic and bespoke jewellery collection.

Of her success, Charlotte reminises on how her journey began,

“My own personal love affair with India began at the age of 21, when I embarked on my first solo adventure there, never imagining that it would have such a powerful impact on my life. Falling, as so many before me, under India’s mystical spell. I was captivated by the kaleidoscope riot of vibrant colours which surrounded me, and instantly charmed by the gentle spirits of the local people”.

"Drawing back to the country a few years later, I began to create my own bespoke collection of jewellery and clothing, all made with love and skill by local, handpicked craftsmen, and so Charlotte’s Web began to weave her magic spell, it was a natural, unplanned process, encountering highs and lows along the way. Returning to London, I showcased my collections at intimate jewellery parties and on the famously eclectic London markets. Taking my pieces to display at festivals was a real stepping stone for me personally, sharing my creations with like-minded souls was a truly motivational experience, and soon, the demand for my pieces organically grew, eventually resulting in the need for an online boutique."

Recently Re-Branded

For many years, Charlotte's Web have redesigned and redeveloped their logo, moving forward as their company grew organically. This included fresh and new images, always incorporating their iconic goddess, with cobwebs in her hair, representing the mystical, magical & dreamy aspect of all that they do. This iconic goddess remained with them throughout their journey, from their colourful beginnings in India, travelling with them across continents and being by their side as they drew inspiration from their adventures.

From their fun filled days of showcasing their pieces at festivals and on the bohemian London market scene, Charlotte ́s Web has flourished and matured both as a brand and personally. Therefore they felt that they needed to reflect this with a more sophisticated and polished logo, and so the quest for the ́perfect ́ logo began.

Alongside the logo update, they wanted to refresh the overall look and feel of the brand as a whole, and so also started working on a new look website, to reflect their growth and the way they have matured and developed as a brand, moving forward boldly and adventurously.

Shows

Charlotte's Web did their first trade show in May 2016 which was Pulse in the Secret Emporium section. They have since taken part in Top Drawer and Pulse. This year however they decided to run the gauntlet and are very excited to be showcasing their jewellery for the first time at Scoop International, and IJL as well as showcasing in the retail event ‘Stylist Live’.

The company feel lucky to have been invited and accepted to show at these events and look forward to meeting potential new customers at such prestigious events.
