Contemporary jewellery designer Annika Rutlin is proud to announce the launch of her latest zodiac-inspired range: the Year of the Horse 2026 Collection. Handcrafted in her South of England workshop, this new line of solid sterling silver jewellery brings a distinct Scandinavian style approach to the traditional symbolism of the Lunar New Year.

A Transition of Energy
Marking the shift from 2025 into 2026, the collection embodies a powerful change in momentum.
"The snake sheds its skin so the horse can stand in its power," says Annika Rutlin, describing the inspiration behind the release. "We are moving from a time of shedding the old into a year of action, vitality, and progress. I sought to craft a tangible totem that inspires confidence and drives the wearer toward their own goals."
While the Horse takes centre stage for the upcoming year (commencing 17th Feb 2026), the full Chinese Zodiac cycle is available, allowing customers to find the animal that corresponds to their own birth year.
Nordic Roots & The Dala Horse
The featured pendant showcases a stylized horse profile enclosed within a sleek circular frame. Rutlin applies a disciplined, minimalist philosophy, utilizing negative space to create a dynamic silhouette.
Drawing on her heritage, the design is influenced by the proud stance of the traditional Swedish Dala horse, reinterpreted here with a contemporary edge. This fusion of cultural folklore and modern form gives the piece a timeless quality.
Unisex Appeal & Equestrian Gifting
This diverse collection features ring, cufflinks, earrings, bangle, pendant, and necklace options. Defined by a stripped-back aesthetic, the designs eschew unnecessary fuss in favor of architectural simplicity. It is a truly unisex collection, with clean lines that appeal equally to men and women
While created for the Lunar New Year, the design transcends the calendar. It serves as an ideal gift for equestrian lovers, horse riders, or anyone who appreciates the noble, independent spirit of the animal.
