The watch winder and jewellery box maker has appointed a luxury industry veteran to lead its business in Germany, the country where the family firm was founded almost 200 years ago.
WOLF, the fifth-generation family business known for its watch winders, jewellery boxes and accessories, has appointed Sven-Eric Budschun as Brand Manager for Germany.
Sven-Eric has more than 20 years’ experience in the international luxury watch and jewellery industry. He has held senior roles at BVLGARI, TAG Heuer and Pomellato, where he built wholesale networks, strengthened partnerships with retailers and drove commercial growth. Most recently, he was Global Wholesale Director for TAMARA COMOLLI and FACET, before becoming Brand Director at FACET Barcelona.
The appointment takes WOLF back to its roots. The company was founded in Hanau, Germany, in 1834.
“Germany holds a special place in WOLF’s history,” says Simon Wolf, CEO of WOLF. “It was in Hanau in 1834 that my family’s journey began and almost 200 years later, we remain committed to building on that legacy. Sven-Eric brings a wealth of experience, a deep understanding of the luxury sector and longstanding relationships within the industry.”
In his new role, Sven-Eric will grow WOLF’s presence in Germany, build close relationships with its retail partners and introduce the brand to new customers there. The appointment is part of WOLF’s wider investment in Europe, where it is selling directly to retailers with dedicated teams in each market.
Retailers can contact Sven-Eric at sven.budschun@wolf1834.com.
