Nicholas Wylde is recognised to be one of the leading designer jewellers in the South-West specialising in delivering stunning individual pieces of jewellery and providing a highly reputable standard of service.

We are looking for a full time Workshop Manager to join our talented team at our award-winning store in Bath.  The candidate must have good knowledge about the process of making jewellery, management experience, be well organized, a good communicator and work well under pressure.

The role would involve running a very busy workshop in Bath. You will be working with the Business Manager, Cad designer, Goldsmiths, Setters and Outworkers. You will be required to oversee all commissions and repairs through the business, making sure they are finished to the highest standard and ready on time. The role also involves helping train 2 young school students with their weeks work experience, giving them a taste of this wonderful industry.

This is a rewarding role organising the making of a large cross section of jewellery from toe rings to tiaras and an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team, to get involved with a creative, forward-thinking company and one of industry’s leading businesses.

The role is full time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. 40 hrs a week. 

20 days holiday, plus all bank holidays.

We do not open on Bank Holidays.

A competitive salary will be given to the right candidate which will include; overtime, pension, life insurance, annual bonus, a payment towards location costs and little extras that helps make the job even more enjoyable.

Nicholas Wylde realised his dream of starting his own business in 1987, opening his first shop in Bath at 13 Northumberland Place, at the age of 24. In 2010 he opened another branch in Clifton Village which is often described as Bristol’s exclusive suburb. Both shops work well together and our name is becoming more established than ever.
