Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:00 am – 16:00 pm.
Holidays: 24 days per annum
plus 8 bank holidays

About the Role
Weston Beamor is looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Assistant to support our busy Production Team. This role is key in ensuring that all production operations run smoothly and on time. The ideal candidate will be familiar with jewellery production processes and have a keen eye for detail.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of production plans, ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
- Accurately recording job updates, ensuring all jobs are properly assigned, traceable both on and off system and running on time.
- Order necessary components, such as findings and stones, to complete production processes on time.
- Play an active role in the movement of products through the production facility, ensuring items are moved efficiently and safely.
- Carry out quality control inspections on products through every stage of production from casting to finished items to ensure customer satisfaction
- Accurately match moulds to their corresponding production labels to ensure the accuracy of customer orders.
- Accurately set up new patterns for casting/manufacture and place orders to fulfil customer orders, ensuring all specifications are met.
- Prepare and submit relevant castings to our onsite sub-assay office, ensuring all required forms and information are correctly completed.
- Maintain and update the mould log, ensuring the timely delivery of moulds to meet production lead times.
- Notify the Customer Service team of any production delays that may impact timelines, ensuring transparent communication.
- Accurately invoice customer orders with great attention to detail, ensuring that all charges are correct and reflect the agreed terms.
- Efficiently handle and process incoming posts, ensuring timely distribution to relevant departments.
- Provide general administrative support as needed and assist the wider team to ensure smooth operations.

Candidate Requirements – Qualifications and Education
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using Google Docs and Navision.
- Knowledge of jewellery production and casting processes is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a production assistant role or in the jewellery manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with production planning tools and logs.
