JewelCast is a leading precious metal casting company and end-to-end jewellery manufacturer, proudly based in the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.
We provide a comprehensive range of in-house services, including CAD design, 3D printing, and mould cutting, complemented by fully bespoke stone setting and expert finishing.
We support our customers with projects from initial concept through to final production, ensuring exceptional quality at every stage.

About the Role
Are you good with your hands and proud of producing careful, accurate work?
We are looking for a practical and reliable person to join our casting team and learn the specialist skill of wax assembly.
You do not need previous jewellery or casting experience. What matters most is excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, patience and a positive approach to learning.
Full training will be provided.
What you will do
- Attach small wax components and patterns to runners and sprues
- Position and space components accurately on a wax tree
- Create clean, secure wax joints
- Build complete wax trees ready for the next stage of casting
- Handle delicate components carefully to prevent damage or distortion
- Check finished work for quality and consistency
- Work efficiently with the casting team to meet production requirements

Experience
Jewellery experience is not essential.
Experience in precision assembly, craft work, model making, dental laboratory work, manufacturing or any role involving small and delicate components may be helpful.
