Grant Macdonald is a high-end silversmithing manufacturer. We are market leaders in our specialised field and our global customer base ensures we produce a wide range of fascinating products.

An opportunity has arisen to join our expanding silversmithing team in our central London workshop.

We are currently looking for a talented junior silversmith/trainee to join the team. The chosen candidate needs to be a hardworking, enthusiastic craftsperson who is looking to expand their skills and grow as a silversmith at a prestigious London workshop.

About the job

5 days a week
Traditional workshop hours (Early start and early finish)
Central London location (between Waterloo station and London Bridge station)
Small but experienced team working on pieces in silver and gold only (No brass, copper, or base metal)

Requirements:

Some experience in a silversmithing workshop preferred
Good bench hand making skills
Ability to work to deadlines whist keeping a very high standard of work
Accuracy, good time management and a ‘can-do’ attitude
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Willing to learn and expand skill base

Salary

Salary is competitive and dependant on both experience and level of skill.
