About E.C.One

E.C.One is an independent, award winning B Corp jeweller based in Clerkenwell, London. We create unique bespoke jewellery, including engagement and wedding rings, with a commitment to responsible sourcing and craftsmanship. Our handcrafted pieces are designed to be cherished for a lifetime, reflecting our ethos: choose well, buy less.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to enhance our brand presence and engage with our community.

Working closely with our retail and workshop teams, you will bring our jewellery, craftsmanship and values to life through compelling content and thoughtful marketing. This role would suit someone with a strong visual eye, an interest in ethical jewellery and the organisational skills to turn ideas into finished work.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Plan and deliver social media activity aligned with E.C.One’s goals, values and brand guidelines.
  • Create, curate and manage engaging content across Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain a content calendar, balancing planned campaigns with opportunities to capture everyday life in our shop and workshop.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages, building relationships with our online community.
  • Use platform insights and relevant trends to improve content and grow our audience.
  • Content Creation
  • Work with our workshop and retail teams to tell the stories behind our jewellery, from initial designs to finished pieces.
  • Produce high quality photography and video content to showcase our products, people and craftsmanship.
  • Capture content using both professional cameras and smartphones, in the shop, workshop and at other locations.
  • Edit photographs and videos for use across social media, our website and email campaigns.
  • Write engaging copy that reflects E.C.One’s tone of voice.
  • Create and send email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo.
  • Use graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity or Canva to produce marketing materials, including window graphics.

Marketing and Campaigns

  • Help develop and deliver campaigns that build brand awareness, encourage enquiries and support sales.
  • Coordinate content around product launches, seasonal activity and key moments for the business.
  • Stay informed about social media trends and competitor activity, identifying ideas relevant to our audience.
  • Review social media and email campaign performance, sharing findings and practical suggestions for improvement.
  • Keep our messaging and visual identity consistent across marketing channels.
  • Skills and Experience
  • Experience managing social media accounts or creating content for a business or brand, ideally within jewellery, fashion, luxury or a business with a strong ethical focus.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your photography, video and social media content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in photography and video production, including editing.
  • Confidence capturing content with both cameras and smartphones in different environments.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity or Canva.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects and deadlines.
  • An understanding of how to use performance data to improve content and campaigns.

Experience with Klaviyo would be helpful, but is not essential. A qualification in a creative field or marketing is welcome, but we are equally interested in practical experience and the quality of your work.

Personal Attributes

  • An interest in ethical jewellery, craftsmanship and sustainability.
  • A creative and proactive approach, with the confidence to suggest ideas and follow them through.
  • A strong sense of aesthetics and an understanding of what makes content engaging.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build good relationships with colleagues.
  • Curiosity about social media trends and the judgement to adapt them to our brand and audience.
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback and develop your skills.

We welcome candidates ready to develop their skills, as well as those with the experience to take on the full role independently. Your starting salary and level of responsibility will reflect your relevant skills and experience.

What We Offer

  • A creative and collaborative working environment in Clerkenwell.
  • The opportunity to work alongside skilled jewellers and see bespoke pieces being made.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Room to contribute ideas and help shape our marketing.
  • The chance to be part of an independent B Corp committed to responsible business.
  • Employee discounts on our jewellery.

How to Apply

Please send your CV and a link to examples of your photography, video and social media content. Applications without examples of work will not be considered.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. Please let us know if you need any adjustments during the recruitment process.

This is a full time role based at our Clerkenwell shop and workshop and is not suitable for remote working.
