Ryan Nelson London is a growing bespoke jewellery studio based in Hatton Garden. Specialising in high end, handcrafted jewellery - from clean cut solitaires to intricate bespoke commissions.

We combine traditional craftsmanship with a modern mindset and are building a team that values quality, seamless aesthetics, and collaboration in equal measure.

We’re looking for a highly skilled Diamond Mounter with extensive bespoke and hand making experience, someone confident building pieces from scratch and taking real ownership of their work at the bench.

We are a highly skilled team working across both handmade and CAD led production for a growing number of long term clients who value craftsmanship and quality. Collaboration of skills and knowledge is a key part of our workshop ethos, supporting and encouraging individual growth as a jeweller.

This is not a finishing role, we are looking for someone who can authentically make by hand and from scratch, to a rigorous standard of quality and accuracy befitting our brand ethos and quality assurance.

The Role

You will be working across a wide range of pieces, from clean and precise engagement rings, through to intricate and ornate custom commissions.

Hand making mounts from scratch
Building and assembling bespoke pieces
Preparing work for setting to a high standard
Working closely with Setters and CAD to ensure accurate execution

The Opportunity

This is a long term position within a focused, high quality workshop. Producing work of a high caliber and craftsmanship for our established clients. Our focus is on creating well made jewellery with care and integrity to our craft.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years bench experience
Strong handmade background (essential)
Confident working independently on complex pieces
Capable to work autonomously when needed and manage own workflow
High level of finish and consistency
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
Able to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure
Positive, collaborative approach with regards to both making jewellery and the wider workshop environment.

Salary

Salary dependent on experience, bench test, and level.

Overtime available where required
