At Ino Creative, we specialise in bringing diverse jewellery designs to life through our comprehensive manufacturing services. We work primarily with CAD-designed pieces and receive all types of designs from our varied client base, ranging from independent designers to established jewellery brands. Our business thrives on versatility and precision, handling everything from classic engagement rings to designer pieces.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Diamond Mounter to join our skilled manufacturing team, specialising in jewellery assembly. This is a precision goldsmithing role for someone who is passionate about metalwork craftsmanship, jewellery construction, and preparing pieces to the highest standards for our setting department. You'll be working with CAD designs whilst utilising goldsmithing skills to ensure each piece meets our exacting quality standards. 

šŸ’”  Key Responsibilities

šŸ”Ø Jewellery Assembly & Construction

• Assemble complex jewellery pieces from cast components and fabricated parts
• Size and adjust rings, bracelets, and other jewellery pieces to specifications
• Construct custom mountings and settings ready for stone placement 

šŸ¤ Production Workflow

• Coordinate with head goldsmith to receive and prepare cast components
• Work closely with CAD team to understand construction requirements from technical drawings
• Prepare detailed work orders and progress updates for production tracking
• Collaborate with setting team to ensure seamless handoff of prepared pieces 

šŸ”„ Essential Requirements

šŸ”Ø Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years of professional goldsmithing and jewellery assembly experience
• Expertise in precious metal soldering techniques and joint construction
• Proficiency with traditional goldsmithing tools: files, saws, forming tools, and measuring instruments
• Experience in jewellery sizing, resizing, and structural modifications
• Knowledge of seat cutting and setting preparation for various gemstone shapes and sizes
• Understanding of precious metal properties, annealing, and work hardening

šŸ¤ Craft Experience

• Demonstrated experience in high-end jewellery construction and assembly
• Ability to work from technical drawings and CAD renderings
• Experience with both cast jewellery finishing and hand-fabricated components
• Knowledge of different joining techniques: hard solder, medium solder, soft solder applications
• Experience in jewellery repair and restoration work

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in metalwork
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Excellent problem-solving abilities for construction challenges
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards

• Experience reading and interpreting CAD technical drawings
• Hand fabrication skills for creating claws by hand and constructing snaps/clasps when required
• Knowledge of casting processes and cast component finishing
• Previous experience in high jewellery manufacturing environment
• Understanding of gemstone requirements and setting constraints
• Experience with laser welding and micro-soldering techniques
• Knowledge of different precious metal alloys and their working properties
• Formal jewellery making or goldsmithing training/apprenticeship
