Part time 3 days – Thursday to Saturday

Rebus is a successful retailer and manufacturer of bespoke jewellery based in Hatton Garden. The business is successful and growing, and focuses on a tight niche market, for bespoke personalised hand-engraved jewellery such as signet rings, pendants, and cufflinks. We work closely with our customers to personalise, as they wish, each piece we create. The premises houses the workshop and retail outlet and hosts the online sales activity.  

We seek a creative, friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and engaging Sales and Design Associate to take part in all aspects of the sales process, both instore and online, where other employees, who work together as a team, share in the success of Rebus. We are very much team focused but we require our associates to strike an engaging and personable relationship with our clients from start to finish.  

The Role 

  • You will be required to undertake engaging client consultations face to face instore, on the telephone and online, ensuring a high level of customer service. Your creative eye will assist our clients bring their visions to life. 
  • Sales administration before, during and after the sale. Processing enquiries, quotations, following up on quotations, bespoke designs, resin prototypes, artwork, sending progress videos and photographs.  
  • To email, take calls and liaise as necessary with clients and the different Rebus departments while work is in production.  
  • You will be required to work closely and collaboratively with our production team, workshop members and other members of the sales and administrative team. 
  • Ensuring that all orders are noted correctly with the relevant information and entered on to our ERP & CRM systems and if need be, explained to the Production dept. 
  • Visual merchandising, to assist with the high standard of product presentation.  
  • Quality control and dispatch within the UK and abroad or again with a face to face consultation. 

The Candidate 

  • You will ideally have experience in jewellery retail sales and have a strong sense of service and aesthetics. 
  • You will have creative interests and an eye for design to guide your client through engraving designs. Freehand sketching as well as Adobe Creative suite experience is preferable but not essential.
  • You will be an excellent and diligent communicator to put in place across all aspects of the role and our departments. Collaborative, supportive, and motivational within your team. 
  • You will be responsible for planning your own workload and weekly tasks, ensuring every client is informed of their item’s progress throughout the production process. We have ERP & CRM systems in place to help this, but your self-discipline is key. Your diligence, adaptability and ability to multi task will enable you to shine.
  • Computer literacy is essential.

Part time 3 days – Thursday to Saturday
