Sales Administrator

We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our esteemed fine jewellery manufacturing business.

This position requires someone who is passionate about jewellery, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has a strong background in sales.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the fine jewellery industry and be able to confidently handle bespoke jewellery estimates, customer enquiries and provide exceptional service throughout the entire customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive quotations and estimates for bespoke jewellery, taking into account customer preferences, materials, and labour costs.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their enquiries and queries with confidence and expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends, new designs, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably used to estimating fine jewellery quotes within industry.
  • A genuine passion for jewellery and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Extensive knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals, including their characteristics, grading systems, and sourcing methods.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
