As we've grown, so too has our product range. We started as a bespoke-only brand, but now our offering includes a wide range of gems and diamonds, set made-to-order engagement rings, wedding rings and jewellery. We’re now looking for someone to join our high performance procurement team.

The role is based in our central London workshop (close to Holborn).

The Role

We are seeking a high-performing Procurement Coordinator to join the Taylor & Hart Procurement team. Key responsibilities include ensuring all orders are placed and received in a line with our internal delivery dates, quality control of all inbound jewellery and gemstones and managing stock levels.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who proactively builds partnerships with stakeholders within Taylor & Hart to gain a good overview of the business from the inside out and is eager to make a real difference to the company’s success.

Key Results

  • Quality control - stones and inbound jewellery
  • Stock control - stones, jewellery and components, keeping cost, movements and availability live
  • Operational advancement - with a focus on cross-functional communication
  • All orders are accurate and placed on time
  • Contributing to the overall KPIs in the supply chain team around quality, gross profit and on-time delivery

Work Listing

  • Liaising with local and international suppliers to place and manage orders, ensuring on time arrival
  • Ensure our systems are kept live and up to date
  • Track all shipments, communicating possible delays
  • QC checks on incoming gems and jewellery, including allocation to order
  • Monthly stock-takes

Job Requirements

  • Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing techniques
  • A basic knowledge of diamonds and gemstones
  • A strong ability to multitask.
  • A great problem solver and calm under pressure.
  • Superior attention to detail, organisational and planning skills.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good general computer skills and ability to readily learn new systems.
  • Work using your own initiative and actively seek out opportunities to add value.
