Part Time Jewellery Sales & Customer Care Associate

Hours: Part time, minimum 2 days per week (3/4 weekends). Flexibility required during busier trading periods (e.g. Christmas).

The Role
We’re looking for a confident, motivated individual with a passion for contemporary jewellery and outstanding customer service. The role blends gallery retail with personalised client care: you’ll support bespoke design appointments, guiding customers through the process of designing and creating jewellery, alongside day-to-day sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in-store, online and by phone
- Welcome visitors, maintain an inviting shop and update visual displays
- Support bespoke consultations: prepare pieces and references, take notes, organise quotes, and manage follow-ups
- Assist with inventory and stock management: receiving deliveries, prepping items for photography, pricing, and displaying products
- Process and dispatch web orders promptly and professionally
- Monitor and replenish packaging and essential supplies
- Support repairs and aftercare with clear, professional communication
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Customer service experience (including email / online support)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Able to multitask across front of house and back office tasks
- Friendly, proactive team player
- Passion for contemporary jewellery and design
- Availability on weekdays and weekends (including Sundays and peak trading periods)
Advantageous
- Jewellery making or gemstone knowledge
- Experience in a retail or gallery environment
- Familiarity with stock / inventory systems

Established by Jos and Alison Skeates in 1997, the company has won many prestigious awards and is renowned for leading the way in precious, ethical and sustainable jewellery. We source our materials from ethical and sustainable sources, and our manufacturing processes are designed to minimise our environmental impact. As well as showcasing a variety of jewellery designers, we specialise in bespoke design and manufacture in house. The company was the first certified B Corp jeweller in the UK and as such, give 1% of our turnover to charity, care deeply about where our materials are sourced, and importantly we place great value our team. We pride ourselves on keeping making skills alive, have trained two Goldsmiths and currently have an apprentice indentured with the Goldsmiths’ Company.
