Frederick Grove is a East London based Jewellery brand. Everything is handmade in our workshop by Frederick or our skilled jewellery team.

We specialise in both silver & gold jewellery, both ready to wear & bespoke.

We have a great array of stockists & wholesalers, the likes of Dover Street Market, Liberty’s of London & Selfridges with the plan to take on more global stockists in 2025.

We’re a small (yet mighty) team of around 6 & are looking for a team player who is ready to grow & flourish with us.

The Role

We are hiring an experienced and confident Part Time Jeweller to assist Frederick in creating the bespoke jewellery for our clients.

This role will consist of both production as well as liaising and communicating with our bespoke customers (both in person and via email) advising on stones, design and any questions they might have regarding their custom piece.

This role is based in East London, 3 days a week: Monday, Friday and Saturday 10am - 6pm, (hours can be flexible to 11am - 6pm if preferred)

Skills Required

We’re looking for an applicant with a minimum of 4 years or practical jewellery product experience.
Organisation is key - you’ll be maintaining our bespoke calendar.
Punctual and can handle and confidently meet bespoke deadlines (people and their engagement rings are depending on us)
A good work ethic and team player to fit into our small team. (Positive company culture is vital and important to our brand, so we’re looking for a kind and friendly individual)
Good communication (written and verbal), as well as fluent in English.
Good knowledge of gemstones and materials.
Strong attention to detail.
Open to taking direction and feedback.
Comfortable working in all precious metals.
Stone supplier knowledge/contacts and experience working with businesses in Hatton Garden is a plus.

Stone setting skills are a big positive.

The Responsibilities

Admin

Liaising with customers on their bespoke pieces via email and in-person.
sourcing stones and working with our suppliers.
Maintaining and managing our Bespoke books and Calendars.
Keeping the client informed and up to date with the progress of their ring and generally making the entire journey positive and memorable for them.

Production

Assisting Frederick with the production of bespoke pieces. Including but not limited to Wax carving, Pre finishing, Polishing and Setting.
Producing and working on the brands higher end and limited gold collections.
Working on repairs and resizes if needed.
