We are looking for a part time experienced Jeweller /Diamond Mounter to join our small team.

Navette Jewellery Studio is a small independent award winning designer jewellers in the heart of Kent, with customer-led focus on bespoke one-off fine jewellery creations, from new jewellery pieces to remodelled client items, as well as classic and custom designed wedding rings.

Believing in the client having direct contact with the creative jeweller, we aim to provide a memorable experience for them in their commissions of engagement rings, special occasion or birthday gifts and wedding rings. Additionally, as one of our wedding services we offer a Make Your Own Wedding Rings, a one-day workshop.

The Ideal Candidate

Wishing to find a creative team member with a broad range of jewellery making skills and passion for their work, the ideal candidate should:

Enjoy efficiently working alongside as well as independently within a small team
Have pride in own workmanship with a keen eye for detail and high quality standard
Be organised and self-led with good time and production management
Excellent communication skills and able to interact comfortably with clients
Assist and support in multiple areas including occasional help with sales
Have a positive attitude
Problem solver

Requirements

Need at least 3 years of work experience
Be proficient and confident in handmade jewellery techniques
Able to restore or remodel client’s pre-loved items
Prepare and assemble metal castings
Resizing of rings and jobbing repairs
Create stock items
Be able to work confidently in all precious metals
Understand and adhere to our high quality standards
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Maintain a tidy bench
