As we've grown, we’ve developed a state of the art workshop with eight benches, microscopes and a polishing room. We’re looking to add another setter to our team of expert craftspeople.

The role is based in our central London office (close to Holborn) with excellent transport links.

The Role

We are seeking someone who has experience working with platinum and gold both fully hand made as well as clean up and assembly experience.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and a willingness to learn and support with additional tasks such as laser engraving and polishing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing clean up and assembly of castings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Resize rings of various styles according to client specifications.
  • Use the laser welder for repairs and retipping of jewellery pieces.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in working quickly and efficiently to meet production
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project
  • Maintain reliability and demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with
  • Conduct laser engraving on jewellery items with accuracy and precision.
  • Perform polishing of jewellery pieces to achieve a high-quality finish.

Job Requirements

  • Around 3 years bench experience
  • Experience cleaning up and assembling castings
  • Able to resize rings of all styles
  • Laser welding, retipping and repair
  • Ability to work quickly & efficiently
  • A strong team player
  • Reliable with good time management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of laser engraving is desirable but not essential
  • Able to polish and finish platinum and gold jewellery
