Estella Bartlett

About Us
We are a London based fashion accessory brand specialising in jewellery and gifting, operating across multiple sales channels. Our business includes two stand alone stores, a thriving e-commerce platform, and a strong wholesale presence with department stores and independent retailers. We introduce seasonal collections twice a year and work within a hybrid stock model, balancing forward ordering with in-season trading. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Merchandiser to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our product strategy across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with brand objectives across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce.
  • Conduct in-depth sales and trend analysis to optimize product ranges and stock allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations and Design Teams to forecast demand and plan seasonal assortments.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize revenue, reduce markdown risk, and enhance margin performance.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure availability while minimizing overstock and markdown exposure.
  • Oversee allocations and replenishment strategies across stores, concessions, and online platforms.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock movement and fulfilment.
  • Drive best practices in inventory planning, improving stock turn and reducing waste.

Wholesale & Marketplace Support

  • Partner with the Sales team to understand wholesale client needs and align collections accordingly.
  • Develop tailored product assortments and delivery schedules for key wholesale accounts.
  • Support marketplace operations with inventory planning and performance analysis.
  • Analyze and report on wholesale performance, providing insights to drive future collection planning.

Commercial Analysis & Reporting

  • Regularly review performance across all channels, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Track key performance metrics such as sell-through rates, margin, and stock turnover to inform decision-making.
  • Identify growth opportunities in underperforming categories and suggest action plans.
  • Present merchandising reports to stakeholders, offering strategic guidance based on commercial data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key link between Buying, Design, Sales, and Operations to ensure a cohesive product and stock strategy.
  • Support promotional campaigns and key trading periods with effective stock planning and allocation.
  • Communicate merchandising plans and performance updates to internal teams and external partners.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Merchandiser in fashion or accessories, ideally within a multi-channel or wholesale-driven business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into strategic actions.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercially focused with a strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer demand, and retail performance metrics.
  • Proficient in merchandising systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP software is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

What We Offer

  • A creative and collaborative work environment in the heart of London.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing and ambitious brand.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including employee discounts and professional development opportunities.
