Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Master Jeweller who possesses a profound understanding of regalia jewellery’s intricacies and traditions. This individual should have a solid background in crafting, and restoring high-quality regalia pieces, including but not limited to medals, insignias, and ceremonial accessories. The role would also involve being Team Leader to our team of talented artisans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting, repairing, and restoring regalia jewellery with precision and attention to historical accuracy and significance.
  • Working with a variety of materials and techniques, ensuring each piece meets our standards of excellence and durability.
  • Collaborating with Design & Development Team to create bespoke regalia pieces that meet specific client requirements and expectations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and techniques, continually enhancing skills and knowledge in regalia jewellery making.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of mounters and jewellers, fostering a collaborative and productive workshop environment.
  • Ensuring the workshop's maintenance and organization, promoting safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Master Jeweller, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in regalia jewellery.
  • Extensive knowledge of jewellery making techniques, materials, and tools, particularly as they apply to regalia and ceremonial items.
  • Strong design realisation skills, with the ability to interpret and realize clients' visions and requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to teach, encourage and bring the best out of each team member.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A respectful approach to handling pieces of significant historical and ceremonial value.
