We have an opportunity for a full time Workshop Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. The role offers a varied workload which requires a variety of skills such as polishing, plating, lasering and jewellery manufacturing, so experience in at least one of these is required. There will be opportunities to develop practical skills in a busy professional jewellery and Silversmithing workshop and further training will be given to the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities will include

Preparing items for precious metal and selective plating
Polishing Jewellery and Silverware
Cleaning up castings, resizing and manufacturing jewellery
Repairs- Jewellery and Silverware
Laser welding
Quality control of Jewellery and Silverware
Liaising with customers and suppliers

Skills and Experience

Enthusiastic, hardworking and organised team player
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritise workload
A great communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
