Our Silversmiths are passionate about what they do! Working in our Mappin & Webb Workshop in Harlow, Essex you will be a team player with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service you will provide a quality silversmithing and restoration service producing stock and bespoke pieces of silverware.

Job Purpose

The Silversmith will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke commissions and stock pieces as well as undertaking sympathetic restoration of customer’s items.

Expereinced manufacturing This is an ideal position for someone at the top of their craft, as there will be the opportunity to work on silverware for high profile events and commissions.

There will be a need to supervise and support other silversmiths in their work.

Core Accountabilities

  • To provide a quality silversmithing and restoration service, producing stock and bespoke pieces of silverware
  • Working as part of a team ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with the Workshop’s safety and quality standards
  • To give all our customers an exceptional service
  • Ensure work is completed within the required time frame
  • Ensure high quality manufacturing standards are always maintained
  • Manage and maintain effective working relationships with third party service providers
  • Collaborating with the Workshop Manager on agreed projects
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times
  • Ensure administrative policies are followed
  • Ad hoc activities deemed necessary to support the Workshop

Hours

Full Time, 37.5 per week
