Your responsibilities extend beyond technical expertise; you are a role model for junior setters, contribute to the brand's ambassadorship, and collaborate with various departments to bring extraordinary pieces to life. Collaborating with the Head of Workshop Ops and the Head of Workshop L&D, you facilitate masterclasses to elevate your team's skills and contribute to the broader company's knowledge base. Your contributions are integral to our journey.
Responsibilities
- Handle advanced setting orders with precision and expertise within deadlines.
- Under the direction of the Head of Workshop Operations, lead and mentor the mounting team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.Enhance team's skills through mentorship and on going-training, tracking and reporting on proficiency progress
- Collaborate on designing and delivering training programmes and masterclasses with the Head of Workshop L&D
- Act as the go-to technical expert for setting- -related queries
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and oversee equipment maintenance
- Partner with the Head of Workshop Operations to streamline processes and meet production deadlines
- Represent the workshop during client tours and company events
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment, promoting growth and skill development within the team
- Accountable for productivity and quality standards and to feedback to the head of department on technical performance levels and standards.

Requirements
- Apprenticeship or vocational degree in diamond setting or related field.
- Proven experience in diamond and gemstone setting, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to visualise the final product for ultimate client satisfaction.
- Strong drive to engage and motivate team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
