Maddermarket Antiques is a family owned jewellers based in the Norwich Lanes. We are looking for an experienced Jobbing Jeweller to join our team working on an employed or self employed basis, full time, or part time hours. Working at our shop in the Norwich Lanes, carrying out repairs on jobs taken in from our two Norwich shops

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Resizing engagement rings, stone set bands, wedding bands
General repairs skills such as chain repairs
Laser repair work (experience helpful, but not essential – (training can be provided).
Basic re-joins
Ring sizing
Polishing
Rhodium plating
Clearly communicate with shop floor staff on progress of jobs
Re-tipping and claw work would be helpful but it isn't essential

Ideal Candidate

Jewellery making degree or equivalent
At least 5 years bench experience
Competent jobbing skills
Exceptional eye for detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work quickly & efficiently
Good time-management skills

Working Hours & Location

Part time or full time
Based in our shop / workshop in Norwich, Norfolk
Standard workshop hours, with some flexibility if needed to meet deadline
