Jewellery Showroom & Workshop Coordinator

Manna is a well-established independent jewellery business based in the Jewellery Quarter, with over 50 years of heritage and a strong reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and service. We specialise in bespoke jewellery commissions and high-quality repairs, combining traditional techniques with the latest jewellery technologies.
As a proud and active member of the local jewellery community, we are a growing business that is forward-thinking and striving to re-write how bespoke jewellers should be. We give each and every customer commission the attention to detail and specialist bespoke service from the detailed design, the gem stone selection and product requirements.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and trustworthy individual to take ownership of our showroom operations and workshop coordination. We are a fun team and love to push our ourselves to succeed together.
The Role
This is a key position within our small team and would suit a self-starter who enjoys responsibility and structure and can deliver an exceptional customer experience through storytelling and personal connection.
The candidate will act as a focal point within the business, providing a strong link between a busy retail store and the jewellery workshop team and support services. The pace is fast moving and dynamic, which requires outstanding performance against the required business objectives.
Key Activities
Bespoke Customer Sales and Repairs Service:
- Greet customers and deliver a warm and hospitable in-store experience.
- Conduct bespoke jewellery consultations, advising clients on specific design concepts, gemstone selection and manufacturing capabilities, clearly understanding and documenting customer requirements.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of fine jewellery, gemstones, and precious metals, confidently addressing the needs of clients.
- Assist with jewellery sales and process payments and documentation accurately.
- Conduct jewellery repair consultations and aftercare enquiries.
- Communicate timelines with the customer confidently and professionally and oversee communication updates through to fulfilment.
- Use company EPOS to manage all transactions and the CRM for customer liaison.
Showroom Opening & Closing
- Assist in the opening of the showroom daily and the set up and organisation of the jewellery display in a clean, attractive, and professional manner, considering theme and offers.
- Ensure strong brand visibility (including placement of the Manna boards outside)
- Maintain accurate stock records and organisation and overall showroom appearance.
- The showroom is open from Tuesdays through to Saturdays and closed on Sundays and Mondays. During Christmas and busy periods we open as per the market demands.
Administration & Weekly Planning
- Plan and organise workshop workflow for bespoke orders and repairs and priorities for the week
- Maintain accurate job records and schedules from customer receipt to fulfilment.
Workshop & Production Coordination
- Act as a focal point within the business, providing a strong link between the workshop team, sales team, and support services. The pace is fast moving and dynamic, which requires outstanding performance against the required business objectives.
- Manage repair and bespoke jewellery jobs from intake through to completion
- Prepare detailed job bags for the production team
- Track and ensure each item moves smoothly through all production stages
- Coordinate with internal and external team members where required.
- Monitor timelines to ensure all jobs are completed on or before target delivery dates
Quality Control & Delivery Management
- Perform final quality control checks on completed jewellery
- Ensure all pieces meet company quality standards before customer collection
Who We’re Looking For
- 2 years' experience in jewellery retail sales, production and workshop coordination (preferred but not essential). The ideal candidate will hit the ground running.
- An in-depth knowledge of fine jewellery, gemstones, precious metals and jewellery manufacturing would be advantageous.
- A self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for their role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Professional, reliable and trustworthy approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured but fast-paced environment
- Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools(experience with Monday.com or similar platforms desirable)
- Professional and composed under pressure, able to resolve client concerns calmly and efficiently
