Jewellery Production & Client Services Assistant
Pravins Ltd
Pravins Head Office | Finchley, London N3 1HF
Full Time | Competitive Salary
Join the Pravins Team
Founded in 1969, Pravins is a family-owned jeweller with more than five decades of experience in fine diamonds, beautifully crafted jewellery and exceptional client service.
With luxury boutiques in Cardiff, Reading and Milton Keynes, alongside our growing online business, our Head Office team plays an essential role in supporting our stores and ensuring that every piece of jewellery entrusted to us receives the care and attention it deserves.
We are now looking for a highly organised and proactive Jewellery Production & Client Services Assistant to join our Head Office team.
About the Role
This is a varied and important role at the heart of our production, repairs and aftercare operation.
You will help manage the journey of client repairs, bespoke pieces and special orders from the moment they arrive at Head Office through to their return to our boutiques. Working closely with our stores, suppliers and specialist workshops, you will ensure each item is carefully tracked, progressed and quality checked to the exceptional standards our clients expect from Pravins.
This role would suit someone who is naturally organised, enjoys working with precision and takes real pride in seeing a job through from beginning to end. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating with different teams and taking ownership of your workload in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records for client repairs, bespoke pieces and special orders, ensuring every item is tracked throughout its journey.
- Prepare jewellery and detailed instructions for external workshops and suppliers, ensuring all requirements are communicated clearly and accurately.
- Liaise regularly with workshops and suppliers to monitor progress, manage timescales and follow up on outstanding work.
- Keep our boutiques informed with clear and timely updates regarding the progress of client repairs and orders.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the components, materials and information required to complete client work are available when needed.
- Carry out thorough quality-control inspections on completed repairs and orders, ensuring every piece meets Pravins’ standards before being returned to the boutique.
- Identify and resolve any quality concerns with suppliers or workshops before pieces are returned to our clients.
- Carefully manage the movement, packaging and dispatch of valuable jewellery between Head Office, our boutiques, suppliers and workshops.
- Process inbound and outbound deliveries using Royal Mail Click & Drop and other relevant courier services.
- Support the wider Head Office team with production, stock and administrative duties when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Exceptionally organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Meticulous and detail-focused, particularly when handling valuable jewellery and client information.
- A confident communicator who can build positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and workshops.
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and following them through to completion.
- Calm and dependable when working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently while also enjoying being part of a close and collaborative team.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and SharePoint.
- Passionate about jewellery, craftsmanship and delivering exceptional standards of client care.
If you are highly organised, naturally detail-focused and would love to build your career within the fine jewellery industry, we would love to hear from you.
