The Great Frog are hiring proficient jewellers, confident in the process of finishing jewellery. Experience in jewellery production is preferable, but if you are self taught or have transferable skills from previous work and you’re the right fit for us, we’d be interested to hear from you.

The Role

This is a bench role and we need someone who understands the process and skill of finishing a raw casting into a beautiful polished quality piece of jewellery and has good knowledge and confidence in using all the tools required. Experience in stone setting would be preferable. This is not a design position.

Responsibilities would include

  • Full Time Role - 40 Hours Per Week
  • Daily working with sterling silver and mixed metal pieces.
  • Casting clean up, assembly, alternations and repairs.  
  • Working to deadlines according to the production lead times
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the workshop

Our ideal candidate would

  • Preferably have previous workshop experience (not essential for the right candidate) 
  • Be confident working in Silver and Gold
  • Be open to learning and taking direction
  • Polishing (prepping & finish)
  • Have pride in your work and work to high standard
  • Attention to detail
  • Be able to work as a team
