We have a light, airy and spacious showroom and workshop, providing a pleasant and rewarding working environment as part of our small team.

The Job

We are looking for an experienced Goldsmith / Jeweller on a full or part time basis. The candidate must be able to work to a high standard, with good problem solving skills and attention to detail.

This could be a full or part time position. The minimum number of days, if you are interested in a part time position, is 3 days per week - and working Saturday is a must.

Skills Required

Jewellery making and general repairs.
Melting and remodelling customer’s jewellery.
Claw re-tipping.
Re-sizing.
Some basic setting skills are useful but two of our team are full time setters.
High standard in clean-up and assembly of castings and soldering of settings.
Polishing and rhodium plating
Experience in use of laser welders or willingness to learn

Experience Required

Goldsmith: 2 years + (minimum requirement)

The Details

Salary commensurate with experience.
4 weeks holiday rising to 5 weeks after 5 years service.
Full time is 38.75 hrs /week.
Working week is Tuesday to Saturday - Saturday is essential.
