The Miltons family have been trading in luxury watches and jewellery for over 100 years. The stores are still family owned they are currently run by the 4th generation of the Miltons family.

At Miltons we specialise in retail sales and pawnbroking, the Miltons family of pawnbrokers are the busiest and best known pawnbrokers in Liverpool and the surrounding area. We regularly lend anywhere up to £1 million on a single item of jewellery. Our retail department specialises in new and quality second hand jewellery and luxury Swiss made watches. At our County Road store, Eric G Milton Ltd and our St. Helens store, G S Milton Ltd. Known as Miltons Diamonds.

We currently employ over 35 highly trained, friendly staff including onsite gemmologists, watch experts and working jewellers.

About the Job

Miltons Diamonds are looking for an experienced and skilled Goldsmith to join our busy and well established workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a respected family-run business with a long-standing reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of workshop activities, including jewellery repairs and restorations, watch refurbishment, the manufacture of stock items, and the creation of bespoke commissions.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent technical ability, and a passion for producing work of the highest standard.

Working as part of our professional Workshop Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pieces are completed to the highest quality, whether carrying out routine repairs, restoring treasured customer items, creating new jewellery for our retail stores, or bringing unique customer designs to life.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
