We are an independent retail jeweller, having established the business in 1982. We have an on-site workshop with three Goldsmiths working as part of our Workshop Team.

One of our long standing Goldsmiths is leaving after 40 years, and as such we are currently looking for an in-house, full time, Goldsmith / Diamond Setter / Jobbing Jeweller with at least 3 years’ experience at the bench, to join our busy team to carry out jewellery repair, manufacture and remodelling.

Requirements

You will need to undertake all elements of jewellery repairs including:

Ring sizing
Chain repairs
Stone Setting
Claw Re-Tipping
Rhodium Plating
Watch strap / Battery replacement
Polishing
Remodelling customer’s own jewellery

Additional Skills Required

The ability to communicate well with colleagues both in the workshop and on the shop floor, particularly regarding the progress of jobs
Confidence to quote for more bespoke repair work
Machine and equipment maintenance

Job Type

Permanent, full time.
The position is 5 days a week which will include some Saturdays.
Working hours 8.45 am to 5.15 pm.

Package

Salary: Competitive based on experience.
Holiday: 28 days plus all Bank Holidays. (We do not open on Bank Holidays)
Pension Scheme provided.

We are an independent family run Jewellers established by Malcolm Corbin in 1982 in the seaside town of Herne Bay, Kent.

We have a very well stocked retail shop and fully equipped on-site workshop with 3 resident goldsmiths We offer a comprehensive repair and alteration service on all types of jewellery, as well as undertaking commissions.

The workshop is run by the owner and the retail shop by his daughter Emily.

We pride ourselves on providing an excellent all-round service in a supportive and friendly work environment.
