The business was established in 1969 and has an excellent reputation in the jewellery industry, founded on quality and exceptional customer service.

Role Purpose

Full or part time Gemmologist / Stone Buyer position within our Production Team at Pravins Head Office in North London.

This role will specialise in dealing with diamonds and other gemstones through all aspects of Pravins’ jewellery production.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting and sorting all gemstones from each supplier delivery ensuring they adhere to Pravins specifications
Picking and matching gemstones for all our jewellery production and customer orders
Liaising with suppliers to source gemstones for our production and customer enquiries
Assisting in gemstone buying
Liaising with Pravin’s workshops
Cost management and stock control
Assisting in the production process

Candidate Requirements

Some form of gemstone knowledge through qualifications or experience
Accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding communication and organisational skills
Excellent time and self-management
Ability to work under pressure
Passion and drive to excel and exceed client expectations
Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Office software
