Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Social Media Executive to join our team. As a Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and sales. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in jewellery and a knack for storytelling to contribute to the growth and success of Tomfoolery and Metier.

Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop engaging and visually appealing content for our social media channels in line with our brand, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This includes original posts, stories, reels, and videos showcasing the jewellery, behind-the-scenes glimpses, designer features, and lifestyle content. Filmed on phone and Camera.
Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador for Tomfoolery and Metier by embodying our values, aesthetic, and TOV.
Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the director to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity, marketing objectives, and target audience. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to optimise our social media presence.
Content Management: Craft and schedule daily posts and stories for Tomfoolery and Metier's Instagram accounts. Utilise repurposed content for Facebook to maintain brand consistency across platforms. Produce two TikTok videos repurposed from existing content on Instagram. Create one original TikTok video tailored to the platform's trends and audience preferences, showcasing Tomfoolery and Metier's jewellery in an authentic and captivating manner.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management, preferably within the luxury retail, fashion, or jewellery industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Creative mindset with a passion for jewellery, fashion, and lifestyle trends.
Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Canva, Lightroom, CapCut, Planoly, and Adobe suites.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type

Part-Time, one day on-site one day WFH.
