At The Ringsmiths we run a variety of jewellery making workshops showcasing different jewellery making techniques and we pride ourselves on making sure that our workshops are informative, educational and fun.

We are looking for a Part Time Jewellery Teacher who can run our jewellery making workshops - working 3 days per week between Thursday and Sunday (including 2 full weekends per month).

Whether it’s hammered bands, wax carving or casting you need to know your subject matter inside out. You don’t need to be a qualified teacher, just passionate about jewellery making, teaching others and providing a safe, supportive, fun environment to learn in. Our workshops run twice a day between 10am and 6pm. Weekends are a must as they are our busiest times.

You will be expected to deliver the workshops to our specific standards in order to maintain consistency across all the experiences we offer. As well as teaching, you will be responsible for tidying and replenishing each workstation before and after each session and maintaining good levels of materials, refreshments, tools and equipment.

What we offer:

Freelance Part time position - 3 days per week between Thursday and Sunday (this includes working 2 full weekends per month)
Salary dependant on experience

About The Ringsmiths

The Ringsmiths host sell-out jewellery making workshops in Central London. The business was launched in January 2019 by close friends and award-winning jewellers, Milena Kovanovic and Ros Millar.

Today, The Ringsmiths offer over six different jewellery workshops in precious metals, introducing participants to traditional jewellery making techniques. Each class is designed to be accessible to beginners and those with no previous jewellery making experience.

Since launching, the workshops have become incredibly popular and The Ringsmiths now have a growing team of in-house jewellers who teach the classes. As we continue to expand, we are looking to grow our team further.
