We are looking for an additional flexible freelance jewellery tutor to join our friendly team.

Our workshops are as much about the experience as the jewellery itself, so we’re looking for someone who brings warmth, enthusiasm, and confidence in hosting groups as well as excellent jewellery-making skills. You’ll need to be comfortable teaching beginners, guiding participants step by step, and ensuring everyone leaves with something they’re proud of.

This flexible role will involve a range of hours across evenings and weekends, depending on studio schedules and bookings. Pay starts at £20 per hour, with opportunities for more as the role grows.

The Role

Hosting and teaching jewellery-making workshops and classes (e.g. silver rings, bangles, pendants).
Creating a welcoming, enjoyable experience for all participants.
Helping participants make finished pieces to take home.
Supporting set-up, planning, and smooth running of the studio.
Occasionally assisting with photography, social media, and workshop development.

Key Qualities

A friendly, confident communicator with strong hosting skills.
Skilled in jewellery-making, with teaching experience (goldworking experience is a bonus).
Calm under pressure with a sense of fun and attention to detail.
Able to use initiative and bring positive energy to group settings.

Requirements

Availability to teach on weekday evenings and at least one day most weekends.
A flexible approach to hours, depending on bookings and studio schedule.

Since 2012, we’ve specialised in meaningful, hands-on experiences — from making your own wedding rings to day workshops, evening classes, and events. Our studios are beautifully designed spaces where people can slow down, connect, and create something truly personal. We’re a small, supportive team and love to provide regular, rewarding opportunities for designer-makers who want to teach alongside their practice.
