The Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced full time Jewellery Mounter to join our busy workshop. You will be part of a strong team working ethos, dealing with all aspects of high-quality mounting.

Daily duties include

To be competent in laser welding.
Have ability to mount all types of precious metal cast components.
To be able to re-size rings
To be proficient in soldering techniques
To have an eye for detail ensuring agreed standards are met.
Have the ability to use the right tools for cleaning up
Be able to follow written instructions
Ensure customer orders are produced accurately and to product quality standards.
Hand mount finished jewellery including wedding rings, pendants, earrings and
Knowledge of compounds and mops to work on precious metals (9ct,14ct,18ct and 22ct palladium and platinum)
Undertake all types of finishing, including barrelling, rhodium plating to the order specification.

Requirements and Persons Specification

Previous experience is essential.
Have a good hand/eye coordination.
Ability to problem solve on quality issues.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work proactively.
Have confidence in your own ability
Must be a team player.
Knowledge of Jewellery trade is required.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday Between 07.00-7.30 – 15.30-16.00 (40 hours per week)
