Martin Oliva Ltd is a leading fine jewellery boutique based in East London, specialising in bespoke commissions, high-end jewellery repairs, gemstone and diamond setting, and luxury watch services. We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jewellery Mounter to join our team of professionals in our modern, fully equipped workshop.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and talented bench jeweller with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fine jewellery sector, we’re also open to less experience depending on skill-set and willingness to learn.

You will be responsible for producing and assembling complex mounts for both bespoke and restoration projects, working primarily in platinum, gold, and other precious metals.

You must demonstrate flair, technical excellence, and a passion for quality, while also being receptive to following instructions, adapting to our workshop standards, and collaborating closely with colleagues in our multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hand-making and assembling high-value jewellery mounts to an exceptional standard.
  • Interpreting design drawings and CADs to produce bespoke pieces
  • Creating settings for diamonds and coloured gemstones across a variety of styles
  • Executing complex repairs and remodelling of fine jewellery
  • Working precisely to tight tolerances, ensuring consistent quality and finish
  • Consulting with our design, setting, and polishing teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe bench within our shared workshop space

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a fine jewellery mounter or goldsmith role
  • Demonstrable ability to craft complex fine jewellery pieces by hand.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, soldering, filing, and assembly techniques
  • Skilled in creating mounts for diamonds and high value gemstones.
  • Ability to follow precise technical instructions while also bringing your own artistry and solutions.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and quality-focused.
  • Excellent time management and a strong sense of responsibility.
