About the Role

This is a hands-on workshop position in our Altrincham showroom, ideal for a Jeweller who thrives on variety.

You will be entrusted with:

Carrying out all aspects of jewellery repair and restoration.
Handmaking bespoke pieces in gold and platinum to the highest standard.
Setting diamonds and gemstones in a range of styles, including claw, channel, pavé, and flush settings.
Resizing rings, re-tipping claws, polishing, rhodium plating, and other core bench tasks.
Adapt to the varied needs of our clients, delivering tailored ideas or solutions and liaising directly with customers when required.
Working both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled workshop team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bench jeweller, including gold and platinum work.
Competent in basic diamond setting; ideally highly experienced and confident in many setting styles, as well as working with gemstones.
Strong handmaking skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
Ability to manage workload independently and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable to client needs and workshop demands.

Hours

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
(with occasional Saturday work during busy periods approx. 6-12 per year)
