This allows us to provide our clients with an unrivalled range of unique jewellery, bespoke designs by choosing from our wide range of loose diamonds, selection of rings, styles and jewellery to provide them with perfect gifts, wedding bands, earrings, bracelets and pendants. All our diamonds are certified and conflict-free.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Operative to join our busy Birmingham Operations office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in the distribution of high-value goods. You will work on a varied mix of domestic and international shipping with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time, employed position with a competitive salary.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Dispatch Operative at Neve Jewels will include, but not be limited to:
- Processing and dispatching domestic and international orders.
- Generating shipping labels.
- Producing customs paperwork and documentation associated with shipments.
- Maintaining stock records and shipping equipment.
- Assisting with other areas of dispatch as and when needed.
- Receive, pack, count and record stock from manufacturing and suppliers.
- Supporting with stock takes as required.
- Checking for quality against the company's set specification.
- Transporting items between various locations and suppliers.
- Comply with all site health and safety policies.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution
- Proficient in creating shipment labels for internal and domestic orders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Genuine passion for jewellery and craftsmanship
