Hirsh London is a British luxury house that specialises in one-of-a-kind handmade fine jewellery, featuring rare diamonds and gemstones. Established in 1980, our quintessentially British brand is run today by couple Sophia and Jason-Paul Hirsh, the second generation who are leading the way forward with their passion for rare gems and British craftsmanship.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a candidate to join our in-house Workshop Team with a strong focus on traditional handmaking techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Mounting for bespoke pieces and new stock
  • Repair work and jobbing, including remodelling of pre-existing jewellery.
  • Working to deadlines and managing your own time effectively.
  • Sharing technical knowledge and practical advice to production team as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Traditional Diamond Mounting Skills to include back holing, gallery work, fine claw work, precision soldering.
  • Working to a specific gemstone.
  • Experience in working with precious metals.
  • Knowledge of mechanisms, snaps, articulation.
  • Reproduction work
