Ryan Nelson London is a growing bespoke jewellery studio based in Hatton Garden. Specialising in high end, handcrafted jewellery - from clean cut solitaires to intricate bespoke commissions.

We combine traditional craftsmanship with a modern mindset and are building a team that values quality, seamless aesthetics, and collaboration in equal measure.

We are looking for a Diamond Mounter who takes real pride in their work, creating accurate and consistent jewellery that is ready for setting without compromise.

We are a highly skilled team working across both handmade and CAD led production for a growing number of long term clients who value craftsmanship and quality. Collaboration of skills and knowledge is a key part of our workshop ethos, supporting and encouraging individual growth as a jeweller.

This role focuses on the preparation and assembly of cast pieces to a consistently high standard, as well as accurate resizing to a rigorous standard of quality befitting our brand ethos and quality assurance.

The Role

You will be working primarily with castings, preparing and assembling ready for setting and finishing as well as re-sizing rings. There will also be opportunities to take on a broad range of other projects to build on existing and new skills.

  • Cleaning up castings to a high standard
  • Assembling mounts and components
  • Preparing work ready for setters
  • Maintaining consistency across repeat pieces
  • Re-sizing rings

The Opportunity

A stable, long term role within a growing workshop, working as part of a well structured and high performing team. Our focus is on creating well made jewellery with care and integrity to our craft.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in casting clean up and assembly
  • Strong attention to fine detail 
  • Good understanding of setter requirements
  • Reliable and consistent in output
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Able to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure
  • Positive, collaborative approach with regards to both making jewellery and the wider workshop environment.

Salary

Salary dependent on experience, bench test, and level.

Overtime available where required
