Benchpeg is seeking an exceptional candidate for an exceptional client.

One of the UK’s leading diamond suppliers is looking for an experienced Diamond Buyer to work in its busy diamond office.

The successful candidate should have had at least 5-10 years experience in the trade and be GIA qualified.

The candidate will play a key role in the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Buy diamonds to meet customers’ order requirements
Maintain adequate stock levels to meet day-to-day requirements
Ensure quality control levels are maintained
Manage a small team of Diamond Sorters
Negotiate prices with suppliers
Order one-off special stones as and when required
Oversee stock control

The Details

The role will be based at the firm’s headquarters in London EC1.

The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO.

The position will offer a competitive salary of between £48,000 to £62,000, depending on experience.
