We are seeking an experienced Diamond and Gemstone Setter to join our team of expert jewellers dedicated to crafting exceptional, high-end jewellery pieces. This role requires mastery of traditional and modern stone setting techniques, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to work confidently with valuable gemstones and precious metals.

Key Responsibilities

Expertly set diamonds and gemstones into rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and other fine jewellery pieces according to exact design specifications.
Execute a wide range of setting styles, with exceptional accuracy.
Perform detailed inspections to ensure every setting meets the highest standards of quality, durability, and aesthetics.
Collaborate closely with the CAD designer, and fellow jewellers to bring each piece to life with precision and artistry.
Maintain and organize all tools, ensuring proper care, calibration, and safety.
Work confidently under magnification and maintain steady focus during intricate tasks.
Handle all gemstones and materials with the utmost trustworthiness and responsibility.
Stay up to date with new tools, setting techniques, and industry innovations.

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience setting gemstones and diamonds in fine jewellery.
Exceptional manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of gemstones, diamonds, metal properties, and how they interact during setting.
Ability to follow technical plans and instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to work for extended periods under a microscope.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Right to live and work in the UK.
