Diamond and Gemstone Setter – Excellent Salary

We are a multi-brand jewellery company with two busy studios in the UK. Our clients are across the UK and US.

We are seeking high quality Diamond and Gemstone Setters to work as a key part of our Birmingham Production Team.

The role is integral to our production workflow and the right candidate will show meticulous attention to detail when carrying out their work. Setters are responsible for all setting tasks and must be experienced in setting all types of gemstones and styles to a high standard.

You will work on high end jewellery consisting of repeatable ranges and bespoke pieces in all precious metals. The studio is well equipped and a positive working environment. The right candidates will have opportunity to develop their skills and progress within the business.

The ideal people will have ‘can do’ attitudes, communicate well and be a team player.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a full time setter – 5 years preferred.
  • Fully experienced in setting diamonds, Emeralds, Rubies and Sapphires to a high standard
  • Experienced in all setting techniques. Claw, rubover, pave, fishtail, channel and grain. Micro setting experience is essential.
  • Ability to work quickly & efficiently
  • Team player with great interpersonal & communication skills
  • Follow company policies (e.g lateness/sickness etc)
  • Exceptional eye for detail
