About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Benchworker to join our in-house workshop team. The role is primarily focused on repair, alteration, restoration work and some bespoke production and customer commissions.

As part of a close-knit team, you'll need to be confident interacting with customers when needed. A willingness to learn, adapt, and take pride in your craft is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of repairs (ring sizing, chain repairs, claw re-tipping, re-shanking, etc.)
  • Work with silver, gold, and platinum pieces confidently.
  • Support with remodelling and restoration of sentimental jewellery.
  • Assist with bespoke production when required.
  • Interact professionally with customers when needed, including occasional consultation.
  • The shop is open 6 Days a week, so Saturdays will be required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 7 years’ bench experience.
  • Strong technical skillset and confidence across core repair work.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers where appropriate.
  • Keen to learn, adapt, and grow as part of a team.
  • Reliable and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able and willing to work on Saturdays.
  • Experience with bespoke jewellery or CAD is an advantage.
