About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Benchworker to join our in-house workshop team. The role is primarily focused on repair, alteration, restoration work and some bespoke production and customer commissions.

As part of a close-knit team, you'll need to be confident interacting with customers when needed. A willingness to learn, adapt, and take pride in your craft is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a wide range of repairs (ring sizing, chain repairs, claw re-tipping, re-shanking, etc.)
Work with silver, gold, and platinum pieces confidently.
Support with remodelling and restoration of sentimental jewellery.
Assist with bespoke production when required.
Interact professionally with customers when needed, including occasional consultation.
The shop is open 6 Days a week, so Saturdays will be required.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 7 years’ bench experience.
Strong technical skillset and confidence across core repair work.
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
Comfortable interacting with customers where appropriate.
Keen to learn, adapt, and grow as part of a team.
Reliable and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
Able and willing to work on Saturdays.
Experience with bespoke jewellery or CAD is an advantage.
