Scope
At Queensmith, we understand that our greatest asset is our exceptional team. As the Admin Assistant & Runner, you play a vital role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of our business. Supporting all functions across Queensmith, you are the dependable link that keeps things running smoothly, from dealing with stock to ensuring timely client order dispatch. Your keen attention to detail helps maintain accurate records in all things administration. You assist with inventory, secure handling of valuable goods, and support with the auditing of our product range. Your contributions are integral to our journey.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods efficiently between local suppliers and in-house workshops.
- Organise and dispatch client orders for courier delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct melee sieving and coordinate matched pair ordering.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits to maintain precise stock levels and locations.
- Ensure all stock is correctly labelled and logged onto our database on time.
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support various business functions.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping and data entry
- Ensure valuable items are securely stored, with precise location tracking.
- Manage diamond/gemstone certificates and assist with organisation and filing.
Requirements
- Strong organisational and resource management skills.
- Ability to adhere to security protocols and procedures.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to assist where needed.
- Interest in jewellery manufacturing and/or retail.
Skills
- Excellent record-keeping and organisational skills.
