JewelCast is primarily a casting company specialising in high quality precious metal castings. In addition to this we offer an exciting range of in-house CAD design, 3D printing and mould cutting services.

We have recently moved into a beautifully restored building in the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, and the new site features modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment in each department.

About the Role

Maternity leave cover over a 9–12 month period with the opportunity of a full-time position at the end of the contract. Join our rapidly growing 3D Printing Department, we are responsible for the production of high-quality waxes/resins for casting, moulding and other services.

This position is primarily administrative. It involves assisting customers with placing orders for their custom designs (please note that this is not a CAD design role). While familiarity with the lost wax casting process and Matrix software is preferred, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. We are seeking an individual with strong customer service communication, and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of working under pressure, and adhering to stringent manufacturing processes.

Sending customer quotes
Responding to customer queries by email and over the phone
Spruing and supporting files using CAD software
Cleaning and preparing waxes/resins for casting
Quality control
Liaising and working closely with other departments

Requirements

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
A keen eye for detail
Customer service experience
