The Uncivilised Creative
Bea Ramsay and Change in Nature have just launched The Uncivilised Creative - a four-day wilderness retreat for creative professionals looking for an inspiring and refreshing sabbatical to reconnect with their creative thread. This retreat is an antidote to the fast pace of modern life and the pressures of being a professional creative. It offers a precious chance to quieten busy heads and remember how it feels for the hours to pass like minutes, lost in creative flow.
Who are Bea and ChangeinNature.org?
As ‘Alex Ramsay’ Bea ran a successful silversmithing studio in London for 12 years – exhibiting her work at V&A and The New Craftsmen – appearing on Channel Four and becoming a Freeman. In 2014 she left it all behind and went a bit feral – rediscovering the magic of wild places and uncivilising her own creative practice. Bea has since trained as an outdoor facilitator with Call of The Wild and studied storytelling with The School of Myth. Change in Nature are a social enterprise – and are Chloe Revill and Andy Raingold - between them they bring a wealth of bush-craft skills, nature knowledge, Qi Gong & mindfulness sessions and gallons of warmth and enthusiasm.
