Elizabeth Street in Belgravia becomes a festive village for a day on Sunday 22 November, with 20 decorated Christmas chalets, jewellery and gifts from independent makers, and the switch-on of the Eccleston Yards Christmas tree.

The Belgravia Winter Market returns to Elizabeth Street, one of London’s prettiest shopping streets, for a day of seasonal shopping. Twenty decorated chalets will line the street, with sparkling lights, falling snow and Christmas music, before the Christmas tree in nearby Eccleston Yards is lit at 5pm.

For jewellery lovers, Loel & Co will bring its hand-crafted Italian jewellery to the market. Along the street, Sophie Breitmeyer, the family jeweller at 36 Elizabeth Street, will open her boutique for visitors to browse jewellery and bespoke gifts over a glass of sparkling wine.

Other stallholders include Deborah Brett with ceramics, table linen and candles; Studio Pottery; Sophia Elliot with hand-painted lampshades and homeware; Rachel Vosper candles; C. Atherley bath, body and home products; Dlux shearling accessories; Pom womenswear; Their Nibs pyjamas and robes; and Scribble & Daub stationery and decorations.

There will be plenty to eat and drink too, from Boisdale’s haggis bon bons, oysters and hot toddies to cheese and panettone from Epicerie, turkey confit sandwiches from Parson’s Nose and hot chocolate and mulled wine from The Peninsula. Visitors can also stop for a photo beside a festive wreath by florist Moyses Stevens outside Summerill & Bishop at 58 Elizabeth Street.
