Contemporary British Silversmiths is partnering with the V&A, the London Design Festival and the Goldsmiths' Centre to deliver a series of exciting events to promote silver in contemporary life.

Over nine days in September, the London Design Festival features hundreds of events taking place across London, showcasing the city's pivotal role in global design. The London Design Festival 2016 will be held 17-25 September.

In Conversation with Contemporary British Silversmiths

Join five prestigious members of Contemporary British Silversmiths in conversation on the importance of tools and materials to their practice. Led by Silver Speaks: Form exhibition designer, photographer and tool enthusiast, Anne Kernan. The panel includes silversmiths Brett Payne, Jane Short, Angus McFadyen, Claire Malet and Don Porritt. Find out how makers develop their distinctive style through their personal relationship to their tools and materials. Questions are encouraged from the audience.
