A new Craft & Design Festival at Winchester Cathedral
This May, in collaboration with Winchester Cathedral, we’re bringing together around 100 of the UK’s finest makers and designers for a vibrant festival of craftsmanship, imagination and inspiration - set within one of England’s most magnificent historic spaces.
Meet talented makers, discover beautifully handcrafted work in ceramics, jewellery, textiles, glass and wood, take a class, and enjoy a day filled with creativity, skill and community.
MADE WINCHESTER is a full-day experience, set inside Winchester Cathedral and around the green of the Inner Close.
- Browse and buy from 100 exceptional craft and design exhibitors
- Watch 20 makers demonstrating their techniques
- Take part in free drop-in workshops or book a short taster class
- Enjoy great food and drink from the award-winning Cathedral Café
- Explore the Cathedral with a guided tour.
All set within awe-inspiring architecture and beautiful surroundings.
A special moment – Thursday 7 May
On Thursday evening, ahead of the Festival drinks reception, there will be a special Choral Evensong celebrating the creative arts and crafts. Exhibiting makers and members of the local arts community are warmly invited to attend this reflective and celebratory moment.
